Jeudi 23 juillet 2026, nous avons rencontr\u00e9 le Ministre de l'Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche scientifique, Pr Bour\u00e9ma Kansaye, pour pr\u00e9senter l'avancement de nos travaux sur l'ing\u00e9nierie des moustiques. Cette audience s'inscrit dans notre d\u00e9marche d'engagement des parties prenantes : une recherche comme la n\u00f4tre ne peut avancer sans dialogue constant avec les institutions qui en portent, avec nous, la responsabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notre pr\u00e9sentation :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Amadou Guindo, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois notre vision et l'\u00e9tat d'avancement concret de nos travaux. Il a d'abord expos\u00e9 notre ambition de fond : faire du Mali un p\u00f4le d'excellence en g\u00e9nie g\u00e9n\u00e9tique au service de la jeunesse africaine. Cette ambition, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9, repose sur la constitution d'une masse critique de jeunes chercheurs maliens capables de ma\u00eetriser les technologies les plus avanc\u00e9es du domaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deux jeunes chercheurs maliens poursuivent actuellement une formation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e \u00e0 Londres, o\u00f9 ils s'approprient ces technologies de pointe avant de revenir mettre leurs comp\u00e9tences au service du pays. Il a \u00e9galement d\u00e9taill\u00e9 les progr\u00e8s accomplis sur trois fronts compl\u00e9mentaires : le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s de notre \u00e9quipe, la formation continue de nos chercheurs, et l'\u00e9volution des travaux scientifiques eux-m\u00eames. Il a enfin soulign\u00e9 les perspectives prometteuses qu'ouvre cette discipline pour la recherche biom\u00e9dicale et pour la lutte contre les maladies transmises par les moustiques, une priorit\u00e9 de sant\u00e9 publique majeure pour notre pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Ministre a salu\u00e9 la qualit\u00e9 de ces travaux et adress\u00e9 ses f\u00e9licitations \u00e0 nos deux chercheurs en formation, les encourageant chaleureusement \u00e0 revenir contribuer au rayonnement scientifique du Mali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9changes et engagements :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Ministre a pos\u00e9 des questions pr\u00e9cises et exigeantes sur trois points : la protection des populations dans le respect du droit et des r\u00e9glementations en vigueur, la certification de notre laboratoire comme pr\u00e9alable \u00e0 toute cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 scientifique, et le respect rigoureux des r\u00e8gles de bios\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de bios\u00fbret\u00e9 ; il a aussi insist\u00e9 sur la vigilance \u00e0 observer en mati\u00e8re de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous avons r\u00e9pondu sans d\u00e9tour : nos travaux respectent strictement les normes scientifiques et ces exigences de bios\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de bios\u00fbret\u00e9, et aucun l\u00e2cher de moustiques n'est pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 ce stade cette clart\u00e9 est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qui construit la confiance avec nos parties prenantes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette rencontre n'est qu'une \u00e9tape : nous continuerons \u00e0 dialoguer avec les institutions et \u00e0 \u00e9largir le cercle de nos parties prenantes, parce qu'une recherche responsable se construit pas \u00e0 pas dans ce dialogue continu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
