Leur verdict est clair : la prochaine grande urgence sanitaire ne sera probablement pas un nouveau virus d\u00e9vastateur, mais l'aggravation silencieuse de maladies que nous connaissons d\u00e9j\u00e0. Ils qualifient ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de \"catastrophe rampante\", aliment\u00e9e par trois facteurs synergiques : le changement climatique (premier facteur cit\u00e9), les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s socio-\u00e9conomiques et la r\u00e9sistance aux antimicrobiens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette mise en garde est confirm\u00e9e et quantifi\u00e9e avec une pr\u00e9cision sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent par une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans&nbsp;<strong>The Lancet Planetary&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"health.https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736(25)01919-1\/abstract,\">Health.https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736(25)01919-1\/abstract,<\/a>&nbsp;En croisant plusieurs mod\u00e8les climatiques et d\u00e9mographiques, les chercheurs ont projet\u00e9 l'\u00e9volution du paludisme et de la dengue, les deux principales menaces vectorielles mondiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L'\u00e9tude du Lancet r\u00e9v\u00e8le des tendances localis\u00e9es significatives :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le paludisme gagnant en altitude sur les hauts plateaux tropicaux (Afrique, M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e orientale, Am\u00e9riques), la saison de transmission pourrait s'allonger de 1,6 mois suppl\u00e9mentaires. Ces maladies sont directement aliment\u00e9es par :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;L'expansion g\u00e9ographique des moustiques due \u00e0 la hausse des temp\u00e9ratures (les zones de haute altitude, auparavant \u00e9pargn\u00e9es, deviennent vuln\u00e9rables). L'augmentation des g\u00eetes larvaires li\u00e9e \u00e0 la modification du r\u00e9gime des pluies (inondations, eaux stagnantes). Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces menaces croissantes, nous avons besoin d'une action climatique mondiale urgente, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 des investissements dans de nouveaux outils tels que les moustiques g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement modifi\u00e9s pour compl\u00e9ter les approches de lutte contre les maladies transmises par les moustiques.<strong>&nbsp;Le d\u00e9fi central aujourd'hui est strat\u00e9gique :<\/strong>: it is imperative to direct investment towards the sustainable strengthening of African innovation capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce renforcement n'est pas simplement une option, c'est une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 urgente.
