{"id":735,"date":"2025-11-07T10:33:32","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T10:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acemeafrica.com\/?p=735"},"modified":"2025-11-07T10:48:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T10:48:38","slug":"world-conservation-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acemeafrica.com\/fr\/world-conservation-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"Congr\u00e8s mondial de la nature de l'UICN 2025 : adoption de la politique de l\u2019UICN sur la biologie de synth\u00e8se\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iucncongress2025.org\/fr\">Congr\u00e8s mondial de la nature de l'UICN<\/a>&nbsp;\u00e0 Abu Dhabi s'est conclu en octobre avec l\u2019adoption de la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iucncongress2025.org\/assembly\/motions\/motion\/087\">toute premi\u00e8re politique mondiale sur la biologie de synth\u00e8se et la conservation de la nature<\/a>. \u00c9labor\u00e9e dans le cadre d'un processus transparent, men\u00e9 par les membres de l\u2019UICN, cette politique s'appuie sur une large consultation, y compris les contributions d'un groupe de membres de l'UICN s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s au hasard, d'un groupe de travail multipartite et des \u00e9valuations externes par des pairs. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par l\u2019organe d\u00e9cisionnel supr\u00eame de l\u2019UICN, son Assembl\u00e9e des membres, qui regroupe les organisations gouvernementales, non gouvernementales et autochtones de l\u2019Union.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agisse pas d\u2019une approbation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la biologie de synth\u00e8se, ce r\u00e9sultat cr\u00e9e les conditions pour une innovation responsable \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 les crises en mati\u00e8re de conservation et de sant\u00e9 publique exigent des outils et des solutions nouvelles. Pour l\u2019Afrique, ces d\u00e9cisions ont des implications profondes. Photo \u00a9 UICN\/Tim Gander\/Workers Photos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biologie synth\u00e9tique et sant\u00e9 publique : une opportunit\u00e9 pour l\u2019Afrique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9bat sur la biologie synth\u00e9tique rev\u00eat une importance particuli\u00e8re pour les d\u00e9fis de sant\u00e9 publique en Afrique, notamment la lutte contre le paludisme. Les outils actuels de lutte contre les maladies \u00e0 transmission vectorielle ont sauv\u00e9 des millions de vies, mais ne sont pas suffisants pour permettre leur \u00e9limination. Des solutions novatrices sont n\u00e9cessaires pour compl\u00e9ter les m\u00e9thodes existantes. Les approches g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de lutte antivectorielle, comme les moustiques g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement modifi\u00e9s, offrent une voie prometteuse. Ces approches comprennent \u00e0 la fois des \u00ab m\u00e9canismes de suppression \u00bb destin\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les populations de moustiques et des \u00ab m\u00e9canismes de remplacement \u00bb qui rendraient les moustiques incapables de transmettre les parasites du paludisme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant qu\u2019acteur de la lutte contre les maladies \u00e0 transmission vectorielle, ACEME se r\u00e9jouit de la d\u00e9cision du congr\u00e8s qui fournit un cadre important pour une prise de d\u00e9cision \u00e9clair\u00e9e et responsable vis-\u00e0-vis de ces nouvelles technologies. Cette d\u00e9cision signifie que la recherche sur ces outils potentiels peut se poursuivre, dans le respect des r\u00e9glementations nationales et du cadre d'\u00e9valuation au cas par cas d\u00e9fini dans la nouvelle politique. Cette d\u00e9cision reconna\u00eet donc l\u2019importance pour les gouvernements de prendre leurs propres d\u00e9cisions concernant ces approches tout en tenant compte de leurs priorit\u00e9s et contextes nationaux sp\u00e9cifiques. Le r\u00e9sultat du Congr\u00e8s renforce le r\u00f4le de l\u2019UICN en tant que leader responsable en mati\u00e8re de politiques et s\u2019aligne sur les pratiques internationales d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9tablies dans d\u2019autres instances et accords cl\u00e9s, notamment la Convention sur la Diversit\u00e9 Biologique (CDB) des Nations Unies et le Protocole de Cartagena.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour que ces outils profitent r\u00e9ellement au continent Africain et contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9limination des maladies \u00e0 transmission vectorielle, il est essentiel que l\u2019Afrique ne soit pas seulement spectatrice, mais actrice.
